It's like you're unraveling a big cable-knit sweater that someone keeps knitting and knitting and knitting and knitting and knitting and knitting...

I had to use this title for various reasons- mostly for my sister. Perhaps my next project will be a cable knit sweater?
Don't think so.

Have I mentioned how much I love to knit? While I've stuck with pretty basic projects so far, I've been looking at some more challenging books and patterns with stars in my eyes. Me likey. If only I had five more hours in every day. But the hats can be knocked out in less than three hours and the bootees even less.

Gail modeling my first hat. The one above (and below with the bootees) with a simple garter stitch rim was going to be striped, but I ran out of the light blue yarn. Next time.

More t-bar bootees that turned out better with the nicer quality cotton yarn. I can get a skein of the good stuff off ebay for bucks less than at a store.

Beautiful. You could knit a cable-knit sweater if you want to. You know the basics, and cables look hard but they are not.
