Once again, they picked up right where they left off playing almost six months ago.
Heading out for some ice cream.
Caught. He tried again later to slip his hand around her, and she casually pushed it away.
Sweet requirement fixed, returning home, both strollers empty.

We had a wonderful, though short, visit with our misplaced Ward family on Thursday/Friday on our way to Wisconsin. All of the kids were excited to see each other and were thoroughly worn out at the end of the day (as the parents could tell by the kids' over-tired attempts to go to sleep). It was nice to once again swap parenting stories with our friends and reminded us just how much we miss the half-hour drive across town for a visit once or twice a week. We'll especially miss being near to them upon the arrival of Ward baby #3 next month.

This time I knew you would beat me to the post since you were the only one with a camera. Great pictures! We're all still missing you here. Mali's on the second wearing of her outfit from you already and Brinn insists on wearing the bib that you left here.
And the grown-ups miss the grown-up conversation after a "relaxing" evening together. :)
Hope the rest of your travels are going well and that pinkeye has not made it's presence yet...
Oh my goodness hahah Jack is such a smooth mover - I laughed out loud when I saw the picture of him with his arm around the little girl! Juliet'll be crushed that Jack as a girl on the side.
