norwegian star earflap hat

Here's the hat Jack requested. Well, he asked for a "blue hat," and I decided on the rest. I still need to block it a little, as the front rolls a little more than I'd like. I knit a matching scarf for it, but that didn't make it into the pictures. I'd like to make matching mittens as well. Mike requested an identical set- hat and scarf (in adult size). The pattern is from tiennie knits....
