This was the first time our whole family attended Mass together since before COvid, but both Toby and Joel did an awesome job keeping their masks on and not fidgeting with them!

Opening a special gift from Grandma and Grandpa
Opal's First Communion was scheduled for way back at the beginning of May, but like many things in the spring, it was postponed indefinitely. We found out only a few weeks ago that it was going to be this past weekend, so we had to unearth her dress and buy some new shoes and schedule her for an interview and confession with Father Mick (her first confession was way back in January).
Despite there being restrictions and masks and fewer family and friends able to attend, there was the silver lining of Masses being live-streamed, so grandparents and Opal's godparents were all able to tune in and witness the special occasion from afar. Opal loved knowing they were all watching and praying for her as she recieved Jesus for the first time.
