Zoo!
Mike was taking Abigail to her post-op appointment last Tuesday, so I took the other kids to the zoo. That's too much walking for Abigail right now. Zeke really got into pointing and waving to the animals. I love our zoo because, besides being free, it's nice and quick to walk around, but there are some pretty cool animals, and they always seem to be doing something new and fascinating. It will be nice when the smaller exhibit buildings reopen, but for now, we'll take advantage of the outdoor ones.
We brought a picnic lunch (Iris made everyone pb&js), and there's a park right beside the zoo, which we checked out after visiting the animals. The "Old Woman in the Shoe" slide was fun, and there were some neat climbing structures. It was such a pretty day and so nice to just watch the kids playing.
