A bunch of shots from the fun here today...
Jack was THRILLED with his new (to him) Egyptian Playmobil set. Nevermind it was missing a couple of pieces (and the box). He played with it all day, except for when he took a break to excavate the mummy from the kit Grandma and Grandpa gave him.
Abigail asked for clothes for her baby and an umbrella, so she was also quite pleased.
Pajamas that
match her babe's!
Happy is the child who loves to hoard... a new container! Mike later found her in the other room, unwrapping her candy and loading it into her owl bag... sticky gloves.
Opes got a new toy bar for her seat. FUNTIMES!
Hehe.
They never give her a moment's peace when she comes down from naps.
Jack IS the Sphinx.
Cool fair trade instruments from Uncle Will and Aunt Ashley.
His "most favorite gift."
The girls' most favorite gift. Hah-- kidding. But the packaging was up there. Especially for Russie.
Merry Christmas!
We had a wonderfully laid back day at home-- enjoying a big breakfast of Mike's delicious slow-cooked eggs, cinnamon swirl bread (I made four loaves yesterday for us and some friends), and oranges, took our time opening and playing with gifts this morning, and watched
The Nativity Story this evening before packing to head to Mimi and Pop's in the morning. We're looking forward to spending time with family and friends in Maryland the next few days.
