West Virginia {part 2}

It's so nice to be able to go to the indoor lodge pool on rainy days- we didn't have many of them, but did on Wednesday and enjoyed some extra time there- even baby girl and me (PopPop and Mike took the bigger kids up there in their neighbor's golf cart almost every day). On Thursday, the weather was gorgeous, and after little people napped we headed to the nearby gem in Western Maryland, Swallow Falls, and hiked the river trail there. Aftrerwards, we got pizza from a cute Italian place in Oakland.

West Virgina {part 1}

Earlier in the summer, we were thinking this trip would be too far to make with our kids, especially with a 3.5 month old, who won't take a bottle. I am SO GLAD that we decided to make the long trip out. The ride was long, but we split it up over multiple days there and back, which made it feel more doable. We have so many wonderful memories from our blessed time together! The cousins were there for some of the time, which was super nice for the kids to spend time with them. Uncle Tay and Aunt Shannon were able to make it out for a couple of days, and we got a short visit in with Aunt Heather when she came to get her girls.
