Heading east {Part 1... Pittsburgh}

We had a wonderful visit with Toby and Penny's godparents on our way to my parents' a couple of weeks ago- always so nice to pick up right where we left off he last time (last summer) for the few hours we can get in!

That night, the girls had one hotel room, while the boys shared the other. We girls were imagining what the boys were up to when we first got there (probably not taking bathroom selfies! X-P)

Alpine Lake summer 2019 {pt. 6}

Post Assumption Mass Our last night... One of my favorite traditions my parents started- the kids have so much fun dancing with glow sticks in the loft :-D < Enjoying some time at our dear friends' (Toby's godparents') new house. <3 Mike found an Airbnb that was even cheaper than a hotel and besides having enough beds for all of us over four floors, it had a spectacular view of Pittsburgh! City turkeys! There she is! Our home from 2007-2013. Brookline We were able to get in a short visit with Abigail's godmama between her work calls <3 Sadly, I got no pictures during our visit with Iris' godmother and family right after we picked up Mike from the airport (Scott was at work). It was so nice to be able to connect with all of them- and hopefully next time, we'll be able to see Jack's godmother, too! Dropping Mike off at O'Hare to pick up his car on the way home, the sky was so pretty. What a wonderful trip- what treasures of memories we have! We are so blessed!
