We've got to be clean

Abigail has been asking daily if Toby's umbilical cord has fallen off yet. Last night, the stubborn thing (11+ days!) finally detached. So this morning, we pulled out the Leachco (love these things) and tossed 'im in. Kidding. He wasn't a fan at first, but his screeching quickly changed to contentment, and he was happy as a clam to have his sister pour cupped warm water over his body. It's nice to have a little one soothed at bath time, as Opal currently wants no part of the ritual. Perhaps getting in with her infant brother next time will ease her fears. Or maybe she just needs a Leachco.
