Ireland {day 5}

Goodbye to a wonderful b&b (and host) in Tipperary... And onto our beautiful home for two nights in the Buddaghauns, near Killarny (Kerry County) My favorite animal right out my window! The kids really enjoyed this house- there were toys and a great scenic yard with animals and a trampoline! After resting for a little while at our new house, we headed into Killarney- first stop: Ross Castle. After a tour of Ross Castle, we drove a little ways further south into Killarney National Park (part of the Ring of Kerry) and hiked our (long and downhill) way to Torc Waterfall. The forest was magical. Everything was so green. One can understand why there is so much fairy folklore surrounding Ireland's forests. FINALLY there! Our other children did come, too. We just got separated on the long walk down, and Ashley and I ended up walking ALL the long way UPHILL with two-year-olds strapped to our backs! (We took a few breathers on some nice sitting rocks :^)) And that's all she wrote for day 5.

Sorry these are taking me so long to post. My anemia is bad this time around, and I am struggling to find energy to do much these days. They will continue to come, though... slowly, but surely...

We are blessed!
