Love Begins Here

Abigail, Iris, and then Jack each participated in a session of Love Begins Here over the past few weeks. LBH is a ministry that organizes local mission trips for middle and high school students in our diocese. The program is inspired by the life of St. Teresa of Calcutta and aims to help teens encounter Jesus Christ while serving in their communities. And I'd say they accompished all of that. Each of the kids came back with joy-filled stories from their trips. I'm just sad we didn't discover LBH sooner. They have both middle and high school sessions- the high schoolers for five days/nights and the middler schoolers three. Both Abby and Iris joined groups from our pastorate who also went (in addition to our priests and Deacon Brad, who is fanstic), but Jack was able to join as a Lost Sheep (those not affiliated with any pastorate).
