After a loooong day of packing, Children's Rosary, Mass, potluck lunch, Enrichment activities, Jack's Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe play practice and then karate and some cheese pizza from Little Caesar's (phew!), we headed an hour and a half east to to our friends' near Milwaukee. We kicked our visit off with some ice cream before the (eleven!) kids headed to bed and the adults could catch up after hours.
Bright and early (and snowy) on Saturday morning, Kaethe and I got in a nice 6.2 mile run. After relaxing/playing the rest of the morning/early afternoon, we drove into the city to the architechturally impressive Milwaukee Art Museum (modeled after a ship and a bird). I didn't take any pictures of the outside, but here's what it looks like...

The tour we took was great, and the kids impressed our guide with their knowledge. After the tour, they got to make some artwork of their own.
We topped off our visit with a little more play and Fuddruckers for dinner. As always, it was so nice to visit with these wonderful friends. We're thrilled they're as close as they are. We are blessed!
