There were just as many cold-item bags filling the fridge to the brim. On Tuesday, the kids were so excited to be leaving the house and "actually going somewhere!" (besides our other house). We first met the organizer from our church, loaded up the back of our big van with a ton of grocery items and transported them to another church, where sanitized our hands, put on gloves, and then sorted items and put them into bags- refrigerated and non-refrigerated. There were two organizer women there showing us what to do, but other than that, they just keep it to one family helping per time (they fill bags once or twice a week). It took a little more than an hour total to fill all 46 bags for families in our area who could benefit from free meals during this time. The kids all said afterwards how much fun it was (the little two just watched something on my tablet while the big four were a big help in the kitchen)
I didn't want to take my phone out while we were packing bags, but here's a picture of them before we left the church where we packed bags.

These hyacinths (my favorite flowers) look sickly, but they sure smell divine.
That little figure in a teal coat across the pond is Abigail. We ran into each other on our walks.
I'm so glad we have this just a quarter mile from our house!
Happy Easter Octave, everyone! We are enjoying extra treats, less schoolwork, and the constant company of each other this week (as we have the past month+ X-D)
