After many months of no memberships to any kid-friendly attractions around the city, we decided to renew or Carnegie Museums Membership (which includes admission to the Museum of Natural History, The Art Museum, The Andy Warhol Museum and The Science Center). Our decision was helped by a $20 Family Membership discount offer- good thing we waited as long as we did! Plus I'm now feeling up to taking the kids out on more days, and the membership allows for a caregiver, so our mother's helper can take the kids any day she's here as well.
The kids were happy to return to the Science Center this morning with some other families from our Catholic Moms Group.
We even got in on a cool interactive show, "Taste the Rainbow," in the "Kitchen Theater," wherein the kids identified different colored fruits and vegetables and their attributes, had a lesson on the growing cycle and made kale chips to eat. Everyone but Gail enjoyed them.
